NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has been orbiting our moon since 2009 and has since then captured high-resolution imagery of its surface. Not only does this data better help us understand the nature and evolution of the moon, it will allow humans to better prepare for our next mission there.
